I always loved Spidey as a kid, and as I got older into my teens, I particularly loved the way Todd McFarlane drew the web-slinger.

So, this is my attempt at trying to do pencils similar to Todd's.

The coloring, of course, isn't as flat as the McFarlane comics. Guess I could always do an alternate version with comic coloring instead.

Thank you! I actually really felt scared to draw New York, because I'm not much of a scenery artist.

I actually just found a photo online, and traced over it with pencil & tracing paper. Then after scanning it, and adding it to the composition, I just did the block coloring in Photoshop. Took a while, but it wasn't quite as bad as I thought it would be.

hell dude look at my art and you will see almost no scenery. I totally understand. I'm trying to learn how to draw scenery though.
